If you often misplace your remote or find it buried in your sofa, this app ensures you never again face the frustration of being unable to change channels.

The remote interface minimizes the use of buttons by allowing you to recreate buttons on iOS®. However, the lack of tactile feedback may require you to divert your attention from the screen to ensure accurate button presses.

Swipe Remote features a touchpad control system that goes beyond basic functionalities found in other apps. It recreates 9 key remote buttons as intuitive gestures, enabling you to operate your device seamlessly without constant visual confirmation.

With support for Dark Mode on iOS13, you can now comfortably use the remote in low-light environments.

The app's gestures for different commands are:

• Up - Swipe up
• Down - Swipe down
• Left - Swipe left
• Right - Swipe right
• Ok - Tap with one finger
• Home - Press and hold with one finger
• Fast Forward - Swipe right with two fingers
• Rewind - Swipe left with two fingers
• Back Button - Tap with three fingers

The Widget Remote feature allows you to control your streaming device directly from the iOS® Today Screen, offering quick access akin to a physical remote (swipe and gestures are not supported in this mode).

Browse and launch all the channels on your device directly from the app interface, eliminating the need to navigate through multiple on-screen menus. You can instantly open your favorite apps without any hassle, and tapping on a channel seamlessly takes you back to the remote control.

Text input is made easier with the keyboard feature within the app, saving you from struggling with cumbersome on-screen keyboards during searches or input activities.

If you own multiple devices, no worries. You can effortlessly switch between different devices, edit their names for easier identification, and save all your devices directly on the device management screen.

The initial setup process is straightforward: ensure your iOS® device is connected to the same network as your streaming device, and upon launching the app for the first time, your device should appear in the list. Simply select it to begin using the remote control functionality.

You have the flexibility to customize device names by swiping left, allowing you to assign meaningful labels instead of relying on serial numbers. Additionally, any outdated or unused devices can be easily removed from your list for better organization.

Please note that this app is specifically designed to work with select major streaming device brands only.
